Rail loading, diluent pump stations, e-house design KFS and ADT modifications for Fort Saskatchewan, design 10 MW power generation system, solar gas turbines.
Acid gas injection plant- design electrical systems for this specialized installation. Developed design standards to support acquisition by Schneider Electric
Replaced Lead Electrical for HTT hydro transport and tailings (man hour budget 120,000 hrs)

Startup Electrical Engineer responsible for providing engineering review of drawing packages and construction progress for the commissioning of Westinghouse 501F turbines. Combined cycle with proprietary Westinghouse 185 MW steam turbine systems. 500kv gas insulated bus substation.
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for developing single lines for on-site power generation
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for the review and evaluation of GE Stewart Stevenson LM6000 gas turbine. Made recommendations on power system design for unit purchase.
Provided Senior Electrical Engineering peer review, evaluated system installation, developed system checkout and start-up procedures
Lead Electrical Engineer on SAGD Heavy Oil Process Plant ($200 million). Provided design of Electrical system Single lines, 138Kv transmission line; modular construction of power plant for remote Northern Alberta site.
Project Senior Electrical Designer for pipeline extension including single line drawings and classification, Power layout drawings, schematics short circuit and fault calculations. This pipeline extension required extensive interface with to other petroleum companies and incorporating their electrical systems

Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for the design, procurement and construction planning project for a 40 million BTU/hr fluidized bed hazardous waste incineration facility. Facility includes solid and liquid waste storage and feed systems, off gas treatment, wastewater treatment, truck warming/sampling/wash, and plant utilities.
Lead Electrical Engineer supporting risk assessment activities. Designed and constructed a variety of interim remediation measures including source removal from waste pits, groundwater extraction and treatment systems, as well as a bio-remediation pilot study
Developed Pilot Plant for, ‘Enhanced Soil Extraction Process’
Senior Forensic Electrical Engineer qualified to provide expert testimony in courts of law Forensic evaluation and testing of switchgear and power distribution equipment was conducted in a research laboratory. Evaluation of the failure was then quantified and detailed in report form. Analysis and review of the failure was then provided at trial.
Senior Electrical Engineer involved in several EPC projects in the lead capacity involving nuclear power plants, oil refineries, gas plants, power cogeneration systems, compressor stations, and water treatment plants
Senior Electrical Engineer involved in the design and construction of modification for Commonwealth Edison Company, Illinois. Development and design of existing class IE emergency power systems in accordance to 10 CFR 50. Addition of hydrogen water chemistry control system to extend Boiling Water Reactor Plant Life
Lead Electrical Engineer who provided engineering supervision and construction to replace existing S-Rmatic control panels with GE 6000 PLC-logic, interface stations with a Motorola SCADA microwave link prepared final engineering and site commissioning. Project was valued at $30 million
Lead Electrical Engineer who provided engineering supervision and construction for a large processing plant (160 MV load). Total plant responsibility for 230kv substations, design through construction; transmission lines; 3.5 MW solar gas turbine generators, 15KV vacuum switchgear, 4-11,000 HP compressors, SCADA system (Bailey) distributed control systems. Developed start-up and check-out procedures for total plant electrical engineering. Project valued at $850 million
Project Electrical Engineer responsible for conversion of existing pneumatic control systems to Honeywell TDC 2000 electronic control (10,700 control loops) and prepared final engineering, construction and commissioning. Project valued at $30 million.
Lead Commissioning Engineer responsible for inspection of electrical installation, coordination of electrical check-out, directed electrical start-up and commissioning of new plant. Project included high voltage motors in excess of 11,000 HP, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), process re-start systems, Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers, and Fisher Provox distributed control systems. Project valued at $60 million.
Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for design through to construction, gas plant rehabilitation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up. Project experience included 3000 kilowatt emergency generator systems. Control room relocation, new sulphur plant, high voltage distribution systems, system coordination studies, modification of utility boiler feed water system. Project valued at $40 million
